Back to Basics Raw Pet Food is a local manufacturer of high-quality raw pet food. We deliver right to your door, or you can pick up your order directly from us at our shop in SE Calgary. We also have a few select retail locations that carry our products as well.
Back to Basics has been operating in Calgary for 6 years. I started Back to Basics with the goal of making high quality, raw food diets accessible to more pets. I strongly believe that a good raw food diet is the best thing you can do for your pet and I wanted to make it easier and more affordable for more people to be able to provide the best for their pet. We are able to make a very high-quality product at a very reasonable price because we sell directly to our customers. We have made it very easy and hassle free by delivering to your door. And we have taken a lot of the guesswork out of a raw food diet by providing unparalleled support for our customers.
It makes all of our hard work worth it when we hear about dogs thriving on our foods! Everything from shinier coats and less shedding, no more digestive upsets, cleaner teeth, more energy, less soreness, no more itching and just generally a happier, brighter dog that is thriving on what they eat, instead of just surviving.
Our mission is education about raw food diets. It is very important that people understand what is a good raw food diet and the essential components that make a raw food diet nutritionally complete and balanced. There is a lot of misinformation out there about how to feed a dog. Our goal is to provide a realistic middle ground where common sense and knowledge of nutrition meet in the middle.
